Marathon Season Independence Weight Loss Challenge WEEK I Updates

Congratulations to all of you that stuck with it even if you had a small gain, remained the same, or had a loss. You did wonderful, and it will only get better!! You may have noticed a few more sponsors have chimed in to help with some prizes. I must say, (said in my best Ed Grimley voice) the prizes are fantastic! After my hard efforts this week, I may keep myself in the running for the prizes this time ;-)
If you do not see your name, and are sure you emailed me your weight this past Sunday or Monday before 11AM (CST) please e-mail me. I will search your name on my Outlook if I do not see your name, but you have some extraordinary excuse e-mail me. If not, "You Are Out" to quote Hedi on Project Runway.

The next weigh in will be due Sunday October 26, 2008 or at the latest Monday October 27, by 11AM (CST)

Step away from the Halloween candy…

The names are listed in order starting with the highest percentage lost and so on. If there is an n/c under you name that states no change Please check my math. The spreadsheet has the correct formula, but I could easily have a typo error. If you feel there is an error, please contact me via e-mail not in the comments section on the post.

Just my luck I'll win the Enell sports bra and I won't need it anymore.

But, on a lighter note it looks like a lot of us have lost some weight. Keep up the good work people.

And Pat, I'd be happy to take that Enell bra off your...hands.

Wow...way to go everyone!!!! This is exactly what I need to keep myself motivated. Now that the weather in Illinois is getting colder, I just want to hibernate instead of going to the gym.

Go, people, go!

Wow, Viv, look at you up at #2! You go girl!! I think you certainly deserve a prize if you put in the work (we trust you). ; D

I'm sittin' pretty at lucky number 13, and I'm feeling good. I'm using "The Secret" to win the fuel belt. In fact I have a picture of it hanging by my desk, and I imagine myself using it on my runs. "...I am so happy and grateful to have a wonderful fuel belt from the gracious hostess Viv, and the generous sponsors of her weight loss challenge..." LOL

Congrats to everyone who can actually lose weight in the shadow of Halloween candy! Lord knows, I don't have that kind of willpower!

You definitely know how to organize and put it together Viv! That is HUGE :-)

P.S. That calorie calculator tool is very cool! I'm bookmarking it, for sure. Thanks chica!

Okay, just making sure I read this correctly, but I think you noted that there was no change in my weight when actually I lost ONE pound? Just clarify!

Thanks again for putting together this challenge!

Thanks for organizing this again. You know, I was shocked how many calories I burn a day. I was hoping 15 to 20,000 but apparently it's much lower than that. LOL.

Well done folks. Stay strong.
