Things Have Changed

This morning I took Lil Mama to the Doctor's office. She has been sick and needed a follow up from her ER trip on Sunday evening. The Dr. was checking out Lil Mama and asked me, "Did you do CB&I?" CB&I is a local popular triathlon in our area and our pediatrician is an Ironman, a Mom, and a Dr. I have always held a special spot in my heart for Ironman Mom's like our pediatrician and my Coach (she will always be my Coach even when not training). It can't be easy to balance it but they strive to do so. I told her no pretty much with my tail between my legs. She looked at me and proceeded to tell me that it is OK, I guess the expression on my face showed the conflict. My life is in a different place right now and she understands. She said you can enjoy something take a break form it to focus on what life has in store for you now. Just stay active for your health. I went on to tell her about our pending move and that I am still going to the gym even back to teaching Spin classes. Needless to say Lil Mama's Dr.'s visit ended up being a good therapy session for me.

I have fallen off the WeWa wagon with this new impending move. The stress and change it has caused for me leads me to bad choices mostly head first into Mexican food and margaritas! I know that sounds like a cop out but it is what it is. I am still working out since my heart and soul needs the exercise.

I have decided this blog is not what it should be anymore for more reasons than the ones mentioned above. I need a place where I can release everything going on with me from, the move, new experiences, food, diet, exercise, family, SAHM adventures to French adventures.

I would like to thank all the people who have followed and encouraged me through huge milestones in my life. Over 60,000 hits since I first started in July 2007! I will never forgot how I'm Not Fit To Run helped me achieve so many goals for me even becoming a triathlete, at one point anyhow. The most important result of this blog was making friends that I will keep for years to come. You know who you are....

Sincerely,
Viv

Loves When...

  • Your husband has to have surgery
  • You have family take the day off to take care of the children
  • Your husband has to halt his extremely busy work schedule
  • Your husband is in his hospital gown for 3 hours then they say there is a hold on proceeding
  • Somebody drops the ball in the Dr.'s office and does not have the surgery certified in the 3 weeks it has been scheduled
  • Insurance suggests the husband tries compression sock first
  • Hospital tells you, no surgery you can go home
  • Husband is so mad he does not speak and will not wait for discharge papers and waltzs out of the hospital
  • Not a word is spoken in a 1 hr car ride
  • I head dive into my max points of the day in a barbecue beef loaded baked potato cause that is what a this stressed fat girl does
  • I spend the next 3 hours speaking to the supervisor of God himself to find out who dropped the ball and how they plan on picking up that ball and run with it
  • I don't have anything to wear for a wedding a few weeks
  • I choke on old woman perfume in the plus size department

Helllloooo Lover!

Am I the only one who dearly misses "Sex and the City"?  Oh, the episode when she saw the perfect Christian Louboutin shoes in the window for her "big" date with Mr. Big.
Love Love Love it!

Iam slowly beginning to take steps to life after incubation. However, not in Louboutins,
I wish...It was not the easiest of pregnancies for my body. I had to stop teaching Spin classes at 19 weeks and thought well I will just take easy walks to stay active. Every form of activity led to pre term labor and before too long I was on bed rest for the third trimester. As far as my diet, umm it would best be described as a free for all buffet, geez! After all my incubating and gluttony on February 9th it all became well worth it to have my Lil' Mama join our family.

Hello lover,  to starting my journey from square one,  once again. I can clear the pounds lost tab back to a big fat 0. At one time it stated 88lbs. lost. Am I freaking out about it? Hell no!  I will get there slowly but surely. I can see me losing the weight again and I  have always been a fan of believing is achieving. I have decided against sprinting back to WeWa till Lil Mama is 3 months old, one month from now. I have to let my stress level come down. I am a high strung parent that is a slave to schedules and well Lil Mama literally shits on my schedule. Experience has taught me that by 3 months they will find their nook and sleep better. If not at 3 months old she will be old enough to fend for herself at kid's club at the gym. HA! Not that the gym is the be all end all of my weight loss. To me it is 85% what I put in my body and I can not commit  fully at this juncture. So we will say that I am dabbling in eating better by having a salad, fruits and veggies with my crap choices.

Hello Lover, to taking my first Spin class in f o r e v e r last Saturday! OMG how in the hell did I used to teach some killer classes, sometimes 3 a day to not being able to hang for 30 minutes?!?  I did not know what hurt most, my ass, my calves, my quads, my neck, my back! To think I could spend hours in a saddle and love it! My Viv head fans were happy to have me there and encouraged me to teach soon that I was missed. That was super encouraging! So we will say that I am also dabbling when the stars align in the sense of energy and someone to watch the kids that I make my way to the gym. With the weather starting to come around nicely I will also dabble in walks with Lil Mama and eventually start up some run/walk intervals.

Hello Lover, to blogging my journey back to fitness. I will probably remove the comment section soon due to all the spam comments, WTF? I have link to my e-mail if you ever wanna shoot the breeze with me about weight loss, exercise, whatevs. I am also working with the lovely Susan at Masthead Factory for a better look on what is going on with me these days.

See slowly coming back, lover!
