13 Weeks

No, not how long I have been away from the blog. That number is actually quite higher, if anyone noticed my mindless rambling absence. Thirteen weeks is how far along I am. Yep, we are adding another one to the family and are thrilled! We started thinking we would start trying after Ironman 70.3 in New Orleans. In fact my friends thought it was too much of a sign that when I was crossing the finish line the song, "She's Having My Baby" by Paul Anka was playing. Weird I know, but even weirder is why in the world would they play that shitty song at a finish chute?!? Then again by the time I finished the DJ must have ran out of good songs. HA!

It has been a rough first trimester. With Lil' Buster the first trimester really was a piece of cake. Yum, did somebody say cake?? Seriously, I had no symptoms and I was heavier with Lil' Buster in addition to not doing a lick of exercise. I thought this one would be a piece of cake. Who the hell keeps mentioning cake? This time around I have been dealing with, nausea, acne, headaches, diarrhea, constipation, fatigue, vertigo, vomiting, weight gain, weight loss, frequent urination, depression, veins(I feel like a vampire), heavy breasts, tender breasts, cramps. Pretty much I'm dealing with a Viagra commercial disclaimer except for the 4 hour erection, but if I could have a 4 hour erection I'm sure I would have that too.

Things are starting to look up these last few days. The nausea has subsided except for the occasional surprise visits. The fatigue is what I am dealing with the most still. I'm still working my SPIN classes. I do have my rough moments in class when teaching 2 back to back. Getting better though.

As far as running through my pregnancy....I am not going out on a limb by saying it will not be the case. I was not even running before I got pregnant dealing with injury so bringing it in the mix at this juncture would not be the wisest. I will instead stick with low impact cardiovascular exercises, SPIN, elliptical, walking, things of that nature.

I will probably be blogging more regularly. Watching that "Julia & Julie" movie made me miss blogging. I also have a couple reviews/giveaways over the the next week. The companies who sent me the items months and months ago have been wondering what happened to me.

Thanks for stopping by and remembering, Viv.
